Description
A number-guessing game. The computer thinks of a number from 10 to 99 and you have five turns to guess it. After a wrong guess it says TOO HIGH or TOO LOW. When a guess is off by a factor of two or more, it also says how many TIMES too high or too low. Each wrong guess sends a little man one step down the cliff toward the water, and a log keeps every guess and clue on screen. Guess right and a treasure chest rises from the sea. A fifth wrong guess loses: the man reaches the water and the number is shown. The title counts the quests you have won.
Controls: Use either controller. On the carved tablet, push left or right to go down or up by 1 and up or down to go up or down by 10; held directions repeat, and a button makes the guess.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, April 1985: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
