Description
Two starpilots each have $800 to outfit a fighter before a duel over a ringed planet's jagged mountains. Weapons, from laser torpedoes to nuclear missiles, set the speed and blast of your shot; armour, from chromium plating to a Shrell sphere, is taken off every blast you suffer; the engine sets your ship's speed, and a ship with no engine drifts slowly. Every $100 left unspent adds 10 ergs to the 100 you start with. In the duel, ships keep flying in the last direction pushed, and a button fires a shot straight ahead. A hit takes a random blast, less the target's armour, and throws the target back to its starting point. The first ship out of ergs explodes; if the two ships touch, the duel ends in a stalemate. Play a friend or the computer.
Controls: Player 1 on controller 1, player 2 on controller 2. Outfitting: up and down choose, a button buys. In the duel the stick steers in eight directions and either button fires. On the title, up and down choose and a button starts.
