Description
Draw poker against the house. Five cards are dealt from a fresh deck. Mark the ones you want changed, up to three, and draw. The hand is then paid by the table: royal flush $250, straight flush $100, four of a kind $20, full house $10, flush $8, straight $5, three of a kind $4, two pair $3, and a pair of jacks or better $1. Anything less is a lousy hand and costs $1. Aces count high, and also low in A-2-3-4-5. You sit down with $10 and play 50 hands. The game ends after hand 50, or at once if your bank reaches $0. The best bank is kept on the title.
Controls: Use either controller. Push left or right to move the pointer over the five cards and DRAW, or up or down to jump to DRAW; a button marks or unmarks a card, or draws on DRAW.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, March 1984: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). Titled "*** POKER 256 ***" on screen. This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
