Qewb

A falling-block puzzle turned on its side. Each piece appears in the middle of the box and drifts left or right a column at a time until it hits the wall or the blocks already there. Move it up and down, turn it, or drop it at once. A column filled from top to bottom vanishes for 10 points, and the blocks between it and the middle close up toward the wall; each piece placed scores 1. The game ends when a new piece cannot move from where it appears. Title settings change the game: DIFFICULTY and SPEED from 1 to 19, pieces that turn by themselves, a box that rolls up a row before every piece, and single-sided play where every piece goes left. New kinds of piece appear and the steps quicken as you play.

Controls: Joystick only. Push up and down to move the piece, press the left button to turn it and the right button, or push the stick the way the piece is going, to drop it. In DOUBLE-SIDED games, hold left or right as a piece appears to send it that way. On the title, up and down choose a line, left and right change a setting, and a button starts.
