Description
Steer your maynerd round a walled field and grab every treasure. The maynerd leaves a solid trail behind it, and running into a wall, a mine or your own trail costs a maynerd. It moves in eight directions and stops when the stick is centred. Each field is a new random layout, sometimes with inner walls, and each brings more mines and treasures than the last. Treasures are worth 50 points and each step 1, and clearing a field quickly earns a time bonus. A mine hit turns into a blast. After a lost maynerd the same size of field is played again with a new layout. Lose all five maynerds and the game is over.
Controls: Use either controller. The stick moves the maynerd, diagonals too; a button goes on from the score screen. On the title, up and down choose and a button starts.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, February 1984: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
