Royal Rescue

The Dark Castle has 16 rooms in a 4 x 4 grid. Walk, climb ladders and jump from ledge to ledge to find the lost royal heir. Moving belts carry you along, and you change rooms by walking off a side or climbing off the top or bottom. Keys open locked gates, one key each. Treasures score: cherries 50, flowers 100, bells 200 and an extra life, keys 500, and every gate opened 1000. Pink marshmallows kill. The roving ones vanish when they hit you, and the stationary ones stay. A fall of more than about two and a half rows, or out of the bottom of a room, kills too. A fire in the heir's room flares and dies down. After a death you restart where you entered the room. Six lives.

Controls: Use the joystick. Push left or right to walk and up or down to climb; either side button jumps. On the title and credits pages a button goes on.
