Description
You run a salvage boat with three divers, each making one dive over the wreck of the S.S. Marie. A diver swims in along the surface, then you steer him down past six sharks to the treasure mark on the sea bed. Touch the mark to bring up a find: anything from a rock or an old tire to a jade throne. Get back to the surface with at least one find and the diver banks his money and retires. Touch a shark, or run out of air, and the diver is lost with his finds. The air runs down steadily, the sharks grow faster the longer a dive lasts, and a shark can push the treasure mark somewhere else. After three dives the money recovered is totalled, less $12,495 in funeral expenses for each diver lost.
Controls: The stick swims the diver in any direction between the surface and the sea bed. On the title, up and down choose and a button starts. Either controller works.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From Ahoy! 1984 (issue month not found): original Commodore 64 program by B.W. Behling. Found on the unofficial Ahoy! July-December 1984 disk; the issue that printed it was not found. This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
