ColecoVision conversion of the Atari 2600 classic Chopper Command, designed by Bob Whitehead for Activision in
1982. Fly a gunship over the desert and protect a convoy of trucks from wave after wave of enemy helicopters and
jets - and from their missiles, some of which split in two.

Twelve enemy aircraft make a wave. Destroy them all and every surviving truck earns a bonus of the wave number
times 100. The long-range radar at the bottom of the screen shows every aircraft and every truck, so you can see
the next attack coming before it arrives. The gunship carries its momentum, so turning around takes time: plan
your runs.

Sky Blade plays exactly like the original - it was checked against the Atari cartridge frame by frame at both
difficulty settings - and is redrawn for the ColecoVision: scrolling mountains and mesas, a paved road and its
convoy, a gunship that tips its nose into a dive and flares when it turns, and a sky that goes from day to sunset
to night as the waves go on. With a Lundy speech module a command-centre voice calls the action; it can be
switched off on the menu.
