Spy Defense

Spies wait on the left cliff of an alien prison camp, kept in by a pit. You fly the Laser Striker: shoot the aliens that chase it, dock with the supply satellite crossing the top for bricks and repairs, and drop bricks into the pit until the bridge is complete. Then the spy walks across and the next, wider pit begins. Aliens that collide with the craft damage it, and the cyan and blue ones drop charges that break bricks. The craft's colour shows its damage, from grey to yellow to flashing red; at 100 percent it sinks and crashes, ending the game. Aliens score 5 to 50 points, a brick 20, a bridge 200 and a spy across 750 times the pit number. Cross all eight pits and the spy reaches base for 10,000 points.

Controls: Use controller 1 or 2. The stick flies the craft, which sinks slowly when left alone. The button with left or right fires the phaser that way, and the button with down drops a brick; the left button alone fires the way the craft last moved and the right button alone drops a brick. Release the button between shots or drops.
