Description
A sliding-tile puzzle on a six-by-six board of 36 square pieces. The computer mixes them with three random moves for each level, from 1 to 9, and you put them back so the board matches the pattern shown at the side. There are four games. In SHIFTS a row or column slides one piece along, the end piece wrapping round, until each row holds one colour again. SHUFFLE uses the same moves, but the pieces are lettered and numbered and every one must go back to its own square. ROTATE 1 turns a two-by-two block of four pieces, and ROTATE 2 turns the eight pieces round a three-by-three block. A timer runs and every move is counted. Hold the button and the computer solves it, which ends the game.
Controls: Use either controller. The stick moves the cursor; hold it to repeat. In SHIFTS and SHUFFLE, hold the button and push the stick to slide the cursor's row or column; in the ROTATE games, the button with right turns the block clockwise and with left anticlockwise. Hold the button alone for two seconds and the computer solves it. On the title, up and down choose GAME, LEVEL or START, left and right change, and a button starts.
