Starfighter

Your starfighter flies up through a field of stars while six attackers dive down the screen, evenly spaced. Any attacker still far to one side turns toward you as it comes, so standing still is not safe. Move left and right and fire the laser straight up; only one bolt flies at a time, and holding the button fires again as soon as it is gone. Each hit is worth 100 points. An attacker that rams you costs a ship, and you have three. Every 10,000 points brings an extra ship and makes the attackers faster and sharper. When the last ship is lost, a bonus of a tenth of the score is added and the best score is kept.

Controls: Either controller: the stick moves the fighter left and right, and either button fires. On the title, up and down choose and a button starts.
