Description
The space shuttle is climbing away and only Starkite can save it, but first she must gather the ten power orbs scattered through a maze of rock. Move her through the maze in eight directions; each orb is worth 10 points. A zyptonite meteor rolls through the passages, always keeping a wall on its left, and if it rolls onto Starkite's square she is crushed. All the while the shuttle climbs a mile with every step she takes, shown in the sky panel at the right. Collect all ten orbs for 100 points and the shuttle drops back 200 miles, then a new maze is built and the meteor rolls a little faster. If the shuttle reaches 800 miles, it is too late. The high score is kept.
Controls: The stick moves Starkite in eight directions; hold it to keep moving. On the title, up and down choose and a button starts. Either controller works.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From Ahoy! No. 21, September 1985: original Commodore 64 program by J.C. Hilty. Published as "Superhero"; this version's hero, Starkite, is an original character. This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
