Description
A strategy game on a 5 x 5 board. Yellow and red take turns, and on each turn you either PLACE one of your pieces on an empty square or SHIFT: pick any square and push its whole row left or right, or its whole column up or down, one step, with the piece pushed off the end coming back in at the other end. Shifts move both players' pieces and the empty squares, so a line can be made or broken in one move. You may not undo the last shift. Five of one colour in a row, column or long diagonal wins; five for both players at once is a draw, and so is a game that reaches 150 moves. In ONE PLAYER mode the computer plays red, looking one move ahead.
Controls: Use either controller for whichever player's turn it is. Push left or right to choose PLACE or SHIFT and press a button; move the cursor to a square and press a button; for a shift, push the stick the way the row or column should slide, or press a button to cancel.
