Swoop

Six bats flutter about the night sky over a hill village, each flying in a straight line that it changes at random or when it meets the edge. Your lantern-cannon rolls along the hill and fires one shot at a time straight up. A bat right above the cannon may drop a glowing ember. An ember, or a bat, that touches the cannon costs a life. Clear all six bats for the next level: the bats fly faster and each is worth 10 more points. You start with three lives and gain one every 1000 points. When you lose a life, all six bats come back. The score and high score are shown, and GAME OVER returns you to the title.

Controls: Use controller 1 or 2. The stick moves the cannon left and right; either button fires. On the title, up and down choose and a button selects.
