Description

An educational trivia game about putting things in order. Choose one of four quiz modules: U.S. Geography, U.S. History, Which Is... and World Geography. Each module holds eight lists, presented in random order, and each list of 7 to 20 entries appears scrambled. Build the list from the top by picking the entry that comes next: the longest coast, the first state to ratify, the shortest measure. A right pick scores 10 points for every entry still below it, so the first of a 20-entry list is worth 190; a wrong pick costs 10 points, and the right entry is shown and placed anyway. Each placed entry reveals its fact, such as miles, dates or people. After eight lists you see your score and the best possible score. Some figures are marked as of 1986.

Controls: Use either controller. Push the stick up and down to move the cursor (hold to repeat), press the left button to pick, and press the right button to open the menu. On the title, up and down choose a module and a button starts.

ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From Ahoy! No. 27, March 1986, page 18: original Commodore 64 program by Orson Scott Card. Part of an article on designing educational games. The magazine printed the program and the Which Is... module; the U.S. Geography, U.S. History and World Geography modules were on the Ahoy! disk only. This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
