Description
An educational ear-and-eye music drill. Choose BASS, TREBLE or MIXED. Over ten rounds the computer first plays a note, then shows it on the grand staff, and you name it, A to G, on a chalk letter wheel. You may hear the note again before answering. Each note gets one answer: CORRECT, or SORRY, THAT'S INCORRECT, with the right note shown. The same note never comes twice in a row. The score is the percentage of right answers so far, and the end screen recaps all ten notes with your answers. The title keeps a session count of notes named right and the best score.
Controls: Use either controller. On the title, up and down choose a line, left and right change the staff, and a button starts. In play, up and down turn the letter wheel, left plays the note again, and a button answers.
ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, December 1983: original Commodore 64 program (no author named in the issue). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
