96 COMPUTE! Magazine Programs #052
Description
A computer composer. Using fourteen measures in three-four time, each a bass arpeggio beneath two melody notes per beat, the program writes five pieces while you listen, throwing dice between the measures that fit each position, so every run is new. The idea echoes the musical dice games attributed to Mozart. Each piece ends on a long chord, and the screen changes colour before the next one.
Controls: None while the music plays; fire on the last page plays five more pieces.
