Description

Two builders run fences across a walled yard, and the fences never stop growing: one length at a time, across or up and down, with the stick turning yours. A fence may not touch the outer wall, any fence, yours or your rival's, or the rocks scattered over the yard. When the other builder's fence crashes first, you win the round and score a point for every second it lasted; the first to 100 points wins. If the two meet head-on, or crash on the same step, the round goes to one of them at random. The speed is set from 0 to 9. PRACTICE is for one player alone: survive as long as you can over ten rounds, scoring more at higher speeds, for the high score. ONE PLAYER VS COMPUTER pits you against a computer builder.

Controls: In PRACTICE and VS COMPUTER, use either controller; with TWO PLAYERS, controller 1 is red and controller 2 is blue. The stick turns your fence. On the title, push up and down to choose a line, left and right to change it, and press a button on START GAME.

ColecoVision version credited in the source to Claude (an AI made by Anthropic) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: a reimagined adaptation of the published rules. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, January 1985: original Commodore 64 program by Jon Rhees. This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
