Description

A loose reinterpretation of Treasure Diver with its own look and rules. You steer a small submarine in eight directions, down from the calm water at the surface to a treasure chest drifting slowly along the seabed among coral, algae and boulders. Touch the chest for 200 points; after a moment a new one appears somewhere else along the bottom. Your air runs down all the time and refills only at the surface. Five sharks roam the deep water: patrol sharks drift between depth lanes and turn at the edges, while hunters chase you in bursts and then break off, giving you a window to escape. Each shark hit adds to your leak, up to five, so your air drains faster from then on. Running out of air costs one of your three lives, and your best score is kept.

Controls: Push the stick to swim in eight directions. Hold the fire button while moving for a double-speed escape boost, which uses energy and recharges when you let go. On the title, press fire to dive.

ColecoVision version credited in the source to ChatGPT (an AI made by OpenAI) for Amy Studio, in Amy, the language by Amy Bienvenu, 2026: an artistic reinterpretation inspired by Treasure Diver, whose look and rules deliberately differ from the original. From COMPUTE!'s Gazette, May 1988: original Commodore 64 program by Brian Casey. A companion build to Treasure Diver (Claude). This is a modern homebrew adaptation, not a commercial Coleco release.
