Description
Your starship has lost its energy crystals and limps along in a low orbit over a planetoid on auxiliary power. Gravity pulls it down, and thrust raises or lowers the orbit. Drones fly in from the right and home in on the ship; each hit costs shield energy, and when the shields are gone the ship crashes. Now and then a plasma cannon on the surface fires a homing plasma ball that shields cannot stop: one touch destroys the ship, though the other drones keep away while it is out and its fuel soon runs low. Phasers destroy drones but cost energy and points. Over the large mountain range in a low orbit, hold the beam to pull up energy crystals and rebuild the shields. Survive two orbits to win; the score is the time flown minus the hits taken.
Controls: Use either controller. Push the stick up or down for thrust; the left button fires phasers and holding the right button beams up crystals. On the title, push up and down to choose, left and right to set the level, and press a button to start.
