Description
A 3-D adventure in a dark two-level vault. You come down a rope holding only a wooden torch: light it and the corridors appear around you, seen from your own eyes. Walk forward, step back and turn to find your way past coffins, pits, locked doors and stairs. Sixteen monsters of eight kinds lurk below, among them bats, skeletons, goblins, ghosts, spiders, trolls, demons and a thief who carries off everything but your torch, rope and crown. Strike them with the torch or a sword; each one slain leaves a treasure. The torch slowly burns down, and your life returns only gradually. Find the sword, shield, helm, ring, staff and key, take the crown of Sarnoth from the deep level, and return to the rope with all nine treasures to win.
Controls: Either joystick: up walks forward, down steps back, left and right turn. The left button uses the thing in your hand (light or strike with the torch, strike with the sword, turn the ring's invisibility on or off, climb stairs with the rope, break locks with the staff, open a door with the key). The right button opens the treasures: left and right choose, up takes an item from the floor, down drops it, the left button takes it in hand, and the right button closes.
